The Sphinx's Secret Fountain

Lily discovered something magical in her grandmother's attic. Behind a dusty trunk sat a small stone sphinx with emerald eyes. When Lily touched its nose, the sphinx blinked!

"Hello, young friend," the sphinx rumbled kindly. "I am Cleo, guardian of the Imagination Fountain."

Lily gasped. "You can talk?"

Celo stretched her stone wings. "Only for children with brave hearts. There's a problem I need help solving."

She showed Lily a shimmering blue fountain in the middle of the attic—but the water had stopped flowing.

"This water holds special vitamins of imagination," Cleo explained. "Without it, children stop dreaming big dreams."

Lily's eyes widened. "How can we fix it?"

"The fountain needs something truly precious," Cleo said. "Something that holds memories and wonder."

Lily thought hard. Then she remembered—her dad's old iphone from when she was little! She'd found it in her backpack. It had videos of her first steps, her silly songs, and pictures of every adventure they'd shared.

"Will this work?" Lily asked, holding up the phone.

Celo's emerald eyes sparkled. "Perfect!"

Lily placed the phone beside the fountain. Suddenly, the screen glowed, and tiny bubbles of light floated into the water. The fountain began to bubble and flow again!

"The love inside those memories feeds the fountain," Cleo said. "Every time a child creates something wonderful—art, stories, inventions—that water helps them imagine even more."

Lily watched the magical water swirl with rainbows. "Can I drink it?"

"Not from the fountain," Cleo winked. "But every night, the fountain sends drops of imagination into children's dreams. That's where great ideas come from!"

Lily hugged the sphinx's stone paw. "I'll never stop imagining."

"Good," Cleo said, curling up to sleep. "Because the world needs dreamers like you."

That night, Lily dreamed of flying sphinxes and fountains that turned into ice cream. When she woke up, she grabbed her crayons and drew the most magnificent picture anyone had ever seen.

And somewhere in the attic, a small sphinx smiled.
