The Sphinx's Riddle

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something strange — an old, golden iphone that didn't need charging. When she touched it, the screen glowed with swirling colors.

Suddenly, Lily wasn't in the attic anymore. She stood in a hot desert, with tall palm trees swaying in the breeze. Before her rose a magnificent pyramid, its stones sparkling like morning sunshine.

A gentle voice echoed. "Welcome, young traveler. I am the Sphinx, and I have waited centuries for someone clever enough to solve my riddle."

Lily looked up. A beautiful creature with the body of a lion and the head of a wise woman smiled down at her. The Sphinx's eyes twinkled like stars.

"What is green, makes you strong, but even superheroes sometimes refuse to eat it?" the Sphinx asked.

Lily thought hard. Green? Strong? Superheroes? Then she giggled. "Spinach!"

The Sphinx clapped her paws together. "Correct! You see with your heart, not just your eyes."

The pyramid's stones began to move, revealing a secret door inside. "Your reward awaits," said the Sphinx. "But remember — the greatest treasure isn't gold or jewels. It's the courage to try new things and the wisdom to learn from everyone you meet."

Lily stepped inside the pyramid. There, she found hundreds of children from all over the world, laughing and playing together. Each child had solved the Sphinx's riddle and learned the same lesson.

They shared stories and played games until the magical iphone glowed again. Lily hugged her new friends goodbye and touched the screen.

Back in her grandmother's attic, Lily smiled. She placed the golden iphone back where she'd found it. Some adventures were too special to keep — they were meant to be shared with everyone who was brave enough to believe in magic.

That night, Lily ate all her spinach at dinner. Her parents were amazed. "Spinach makes you strong," Lily said with a wink. "And besides, you never know when you might need to solve a riddle."
