The Sphinx's Rainbow Hair

In a cozy garden where sunflowers danced, young Lily discovered something magical. A tiny sphinx no bigger than her kitten sat crying on a mossy stone.

Lily knelt down gently. "What's wrong, little friend?"

The sphinx sniffled and looked up with sad golden eyes. "My beautiful rainbow hair has lost all its colors! Without my special bravery vitamins, I can't return to the Cloud Kingdom where I belong."

The sphinx's mane was dull and gray, like storm clouds before rain. Lightning crackled in the darkening sky above, mirroring the sadness in her heart.

"I can help!" Lily said bravely, touching the sphinx's soft paw. "Where do we find these vitamins?"

"They grow along the magical cable that connects our worlds," the sphinx explained, pointing upward. A shimmering golden thread suddenly appeared in the air, stretching toward the clouds. "But only someone with a true heart can see it."

Lily gasped in wonder. The cable glowed like liquid sunshine, pulsing with gentle warmth.

"Each vitamin is a different color," the sphinx continued. "Red for courage, orange for kindness, yellow for joy, green for hope, blue for wisdom, and purple for love."

Lily nodded firmly. "I'll collect them all!"

Hand in paw, they climbed aboard the magical cable like a rainbow slide. Lily gathered each glowing vitamin, feeling warmth spread through her with every color collected. When a brilliant lightning bolt suddenly flashed across the sky, Lily didn't flinch—she shielded the sphinx with her own body.

Together, they reached the Cloud Kingdom just as dawn broke. The sphinx munched happily on her colorful vitamins, and instantly her rainbow hair cascaded in brilliant waves again.

"Thank you, Lily!" the sphinx cheered, hugging her friend tight. "You showed true bravery without any magic at all."

Lily waved goodbye as the sphinx flew home, her rainbow hair streaming behind her like a magnificent banner. Now some mornings, Lily spots that golden cable still shimmering in the sunlight—a reminder that friendship is the strongest magic of all.
