The Sphinx's Magical Pool
Lily and Max loved playing in their backyard. One sunny afternoon, while hitting a baseball with their favorite padel racket, something extraordinary happened. The ball sailed over the fence and disappeared into a swirl of golden sparkles!
Curious and brave, the siblings chased after it. To their amazement, they discovered a hidden garden they'd never seen before, with flowers that hummed gentle melodies. In the center sparkled a mysterious pool, its surface shining like liquid diamonds.
Suddenly, the water rippled and formed into a magnificent sphinx with emerald eyes. "Welcome, young adventurers," the sphinx purred in a voice like warm honey. "I've been waiting for someone brave enough to find my magical pool."
The sphinx explained that this pool contained special vitamin water that could make anything grow ten times its size. "But first, you must solve my riddle: What gets bigger the more you take away?"
Lily thought hard. "A hole!"
"Correct!" The sphinx boomed joyfully. The pool began to bubble with rainbow colors.
The sphinx gave them each a small bottle of the magical vitamin water. "Use it wisely," she winked. "Kindness grows when you share it."
That night, Lily and Max placed a tiny baseball seed in their garden and poured just a drop of the magical water on it. By morning, they had the biggest, most beautiful pumpkin anyone had ever seen!
They shared it with all their neighbors, making enough pumpkin pie for the whole town. The sphinx's pool had taught them the best lesson of all: the magic of kindness grows when you give it away.
And every summer, when they played padel in their backyard, they'd wave at the hidden fence, knowing magic was just a curious adventure away.
