The Sphinx's Magical Phone

Lily never believed her grandmother's attic held secrets—until the day she found the golden sphinx statue glowing with an unearthly light.

"Who disturbs my rest?" a voice rumbled, and Lily gasped as the stone sphinx stretched its stone paws and blinked its emerald eyes.

"I-I'm Lily," she whispered, clutching her iphone tight. The sphinx's stone face cracked into a grin.

"Ah, a magical mirror!" the sphinx boomed. "I am Cleo, guardian of the Storm Gems. For a thousand years, I've slept, waiting for someone brave enough to help me catch the lightning!"

Outside, thunder cracked the sky.

"The lightning destroyed my temple," Cleo explained, "but if we catch three bolts in your magical mirror, we can rebuild it!"

Lily's hands trembled, but she nodded. "What do I do?"

"Hold your device high and believe!" Cleo commanded.

The first bolt struck—and Lily's iphone somehow absorbed it, making the screen sparkle like captured starlight. The second bolt turned the screen golden warm. The third made it pulse with rainbows.

Cleo roared with delight as lightning reconstructed a miniature temple around them, complete with tiny pillars and a throne.

"You did it!" Cleo dipped her stone head. "For your bravery, take this." She tapped the iphone, and a sphinx icon appeared.

"Whenever you need courage, tap it—and remember: even the smallest hands can catch the biggest dreams."

Lily ran downstairs, iphone glowing, knowing magic was real—and she was part of it.
