The Sphinx's Magical Garden

In a land where clouds were made of cotton candy and rivers flowed with grape juice, there lived a very special sphinx named Sophie. Unlike the grumpy sphinxes in old storybooks, Sophie had sparkling purple wings and loved to tend her magical garden.

Sophie's best friend was a zombie named Zippy. But don't worry—Zippy wasn't scary at all! He was a cheerful zombie who only ate vegetables because, as he said, "Brains are thinking machines, not snacks!" Zippy had green skin, stitchy eyebrows, and the biggest smile you ever saw.

One sunny morning, a enormous bear with fur like honey-colored sunshine bounded into the garden. "Hello!" said Barnaby the bear. "I smelled something delicious!" Behind him trotted a tiny bull named Buttercup, who had the softest brown spots and a little bell around her neck that went *ding-a-ling*.

"Our spinach patch!" Sophie gasped. The magical spinach plants were glowing neon green and dancing to a melody only they could hear. The spinach leaves were shaped like hearts and sparkled like tiny stars.

"May we try some?" Barnaby asked politely, his tummy rumbling like distant thunder.

"Of course!" Sophie said. "But first, you must solve my riddle. What has roots as nobody sees, is taller than trees, up, up it goes, and yet never grows?"

Zippy scratched his head. Buttercup mooed thoughtfully. Barnaby squinched his eyes tight.

"A MOUNTAIN!" Zippy shouted suddenly. "Because mountains have roots deep underground, they're taller than trees, they go up up up, and they stay the same size!"

"Correct!" Sophie cheered. The magical spinach grew even brighter. Everyone ate glowing heart-shaped leaves and suddenly—POOF!—they all grew beautiful rainbow wings!

Together, the five friends flew across the cotton candy clouds, discovering that the best magic isn't in spells or potions. The real magic is friendship, kindness, and sharing with others.

And every night, when the stars twinkled like spinach sparkles, Sophie, Zippy, Barnaby, and Buttercup would dance in the garden, grateful for the day they learned that being different makes you special, but being together makes you magical.
