The Sphinx's Magical Game Day

Lily and Ben were running through the golden sand when they saw it—a beautiful stone sphinx with sparkling purple eyes. The sphinx blinked and smiled.

"Hello, little ones!" the sphinx said in a voice like chimes. "I am Zara, guardian of the Hidden Pool. Today is my favorite day—the Magical Game Day! Will you play?"

The children nodded excitedly. Zara clapped her paws, and suddenly they were standing beside a crystal-clear pool that shimmered with rainbow colors.

"First, let's play padel!" Zara waved her paw, and magical paddles appeared. The ball glowed pink as they hit it back and forth, leaving trails of sparkles in the air. Even when Lily missed, Zara made the ball do a funny wiggle dance, making everyone laugh.

"Now for swimming!" Zara announced. The pool was perfectly warm, and when they jumped in, the water lifted them up as if they were floating in space. Tiny glowing fish swam around them, tickling their toes.

Suddenly, the water began to bubble. Up came three friendly zombie frogs—green with sparkly eyes and big grins.

"Tag! You're zombie-fied!" one croaked happily.

"What?" Ben giggled.

"It's Zombie Tag!" Zara explained. "When you get tagged, you must walk like a funny zombie and say 'BRAAAINS' but in a silly voice!"

The zombie frogs waddled with arms outstretched, making everyone laugh so hard. Lily and Ben ran—and when tagged, they did the silliest zombie walks ever.

"This is the best day ever!" Ben said, drying off by magical warm air.

"Game Day teaches us something important," Zara said softly. "Winning doesn't matter. Laughing together, trying new things, and being friends—that's what makes everything magical."

As the sun began to set, Zara gave them each a glowing friendship bracelet. "Come back anytime. The Hidden Pool loves visitors who play with happy hearts."

Lily and Ben ran home, already planning their next adventure with their new magical friend.
