The Sphinx's Magical Breakfast
Lily was swimming in the sparkling lake when she saw something extraordinary. A golden sphinx sat on the mossy shore, its lion body shimmering in the sunlight. The sphinx looked sad.
"Hello!" Lily called, swimming closer. "Why are you crying?"
The sphinx sniffled. "I'm hungry, but I can't decide what to eat. Everything looks so... strange."
Lily climbed out of the water and noticed the sphinx was staring at a garden patch. "What about those vegetables?" she suggested, pointing to bright green leaves.
"Spinach?" The sphinx made a face. "That looks yucky!"
Just then, a funny zombie waddled out from behind a tree. But this wasn't a scary zombie — it was a friendly one wearing polka-dot shorts! "Maybe I can help!" the zombie said cheerfully. "My name is Zed, and I LOVE trying new foods!"
Zed picked a piece of spinach and nibbled it. "Mmm! Crunchy and fresh!" He did a happy little dance. "Want to try?"
The sphinx was skeptical but took a tiny bite. Her eyes widened. "It's... delicious!" Then she spotted something orange nearby. "What's that?"
"An orange from my tree!" Zed grinned. "Sweet and tangy!"
Together, the three friends feasted on spinach and oranges under the stars. The sphinx learned that trying new things could be wonderful, Zed made two new friends, and Lily discovered that even the most magical creatures sometimes just need a little encouragement.
From that day on, the sphinx, the zombie, and the swimming girl had picnics every sunset, trying all sorts of new foods and having the most wonderful adventures together.
