The Sphinx's Magic Vitamin

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something extraordinary—a golden statue of a sphinx no bigger than her hand. Its jeweled eyes sparkled mysteriously.

"I've been waiting for you," whispered a voice. Lily gasped as the sphinx's wings began to flutter, and suddenly, the tiny creature grew life-sized!

"I am Cleo," the sphinx said. "Will you help me? My friend Barnaby the bull has forgotten how to be brave. He needs something special."

Lily's eyes widened. "A real bull? Where is he?"

Celo lowered her magnificent head. "In the Land of Lost Courage. But the journey is far."

"I'm not afraid!" Lily declared, though her heart beat fast.

The sphinx smiled. "That's the spirit. Hold onto my wing."

In a swirl of golden sparkles, they soared through rainbow clouds and landed in a meadow where a massive black bull sat sadly, his horns drooping.

"Barnaby hasn't smiled in weeks," Cleo explained. "The Sun Vitamin keeps everyone brave here, but the Cloud Giants stole it."

Lily approached the gentle bull. "We'll get it back together, Barnaby."

The bull's eyes brightened. "You'd help me?"

"Friends help each other," Lily said firmly.

They climbed the highest mountain, where Cleo used her riddle knowledge to outsmart the sleeping Cloud Giants. Lily spotted the glowing Sun Vitamin—a beautiful amber crystal—on a pedestal.

But it was guarded! "Only those with a true heart may take it," boomed a voice.

Lily didn't hesitate. "I'm not taking it for myself. Barnaby needs it to be brave again."

The crystal floated into her hands. When they returned, Barnaby swallowed it like a magical pill. Suddenly, he stood tall, his coat gleaming.

"Thank you, Lily!" he bellowed joyfully. "Now I can protect my friends again!"

Cleo wrapped Lily in a warm hug. "You discovered the real magic—courage comes from helping others."

Lily found herself back in the attic, the tiny sphinx statue winking at her. She ran to tell her grandmother about her adventure, knowing that the bravest thing anyone can do is be a good friend.
