The Sphinx and the Zombie Bull's Garden Magic

Mia loved her grandmother's garden, especially at midnight when the stars twinkled like tiny fireflies. One warm summer night, she crept outside in her pajamas and gasped—the stone sphinx by the gate was stretching its paws, and the fountain bull was shaking water from its marble horns!

"Welcome, young friend," the sphinx rumbled wisely. "We have been waiting for someone pure of heart."

The bull snorted gently. "I'm Ferdinand, and this is Cleo the Sphinx. We need your help finding the legendary zombie spinach!"

"Zombie spinach?" Mia's eyes went wide.

"Not scary zombies!" Cleo purred. "Magical vegetables that grow back forever, no matter how many times you pick them. They only appear for children who believe in impossible things."

Together, the three friends searched the garden. Ferdinand used his glowing horns to light their path while Cleo solved riddles written on moonbeams. Finally, behind the oldest oak tree, they found it—emerald leaves shimmering with an otherworldly glow.

"The zombie spinach!" Mia cheered. But as she reached for it, she noticed a family of rabbits nearby, looking hungry and thin.

Mia paused. "Cleo, Ferdinand—should we keep this magic for ourselves?"

The sphinx smiled. "The true magic isn't in having—it's in giving."

Mia picked the spinach and fed the rabbits. Magically, the leaves grew back instantly! She picked more and more, feeding every hungry creature in the garden. With each gift, the spinach glowed brighter, and Mia's heart felt warmer than sunshine.

"You learned the real magic," Ferdinand said kindly. As dawn approached, the statues returned to their places, but Mia knew her friends would always be there, waiting in the moonlight for the next kind heart to believe in magic.
