The Sphinx and the Sleepy Zombie
In the middle of the Magic Desert stood a great stone sphinx named Stella. Stella had watched over the desert for a thousand years, but today something strange was happening. A small zombie boy was shuffling toward her, looking very confused.
"Hello there," Stella rumbled kindly. "I'm Stella. What's your name?"
The zombie boy looked up with big green eyes. "I'm Zippy," he said. "I think I'm lost. And I'm so tired all the time. I just want to sleep forever."
Stella's stone heart went soft. She knew exactly what Zippy needed. "I can help! But first, we must visit the Lightning Lake. The magic there holds something special."
Together they walked through golden dunes until they reached a beautiful lake that sparkled with tiny bolts of purple lightning. The water danced with energy.
"Swimming time!" Stella declared. "The lightning makes the water magical."
Zippy was afraid. "But zombies don't swim. We're too heavy."
"Magic water holds everyone up," Stella promised. "Trust me."
Zippy stepped into the glowing water. To his surprise, he floated! The purple lightning danced around him, making his green skin shimmer. For the first time, he felt light and happy.
Stella reached into her stone pocket and pulled out a glowing orange pill. "This is a magic vitamin from the stars. It will help you feel awake and strong."
Zippy took the vitamin. Suddenly, his green skin turned a healthy rosy color. His sleepy eyes opened wide and bright. He didn't feel like a zombie anymore—he felt like a real boy!
"Thank you, Stella!" Zippy cheered, splashing in the magical water. "I feel amazing!"
Stella smiled. "Sometimes, what we think we are isn't who we really are. You just needed a little magic and friendship to find your true self."
And that's how Zippy discovered he wasn't a zombie at all—he was just a boy who needed some magical swimming, a star vitamin, and a good friend named Stella to help him shine.
