The Sphinx and the Magic Vita-Min
Lily brushed her long curly hair every night, just like her grandmother taught her. But tonight, something magical happened. As her hairbrush glowed with rainbow sparkles, a tiny sphinx no bigger than a kitten appeared on her pillow!
"Greetings, young one!" squeaked the sphinx. "I am Zazu, Guardian of Riddles! I've lost my magic vita-mins - the special vitamins that give me my puzzle powers! Without them, I can't guard the Treasure of Wonder!"
Lily's eyes grew wide. "I can help you find them!"
Zazu fluttered his golden wings. "The vita-mins are hidden in three places: under the giggling mushrooms, inside the whispering willow tree, and atop the crystal mountain. But beware - each place has a riddle!"
Lily climbed onto Zazu's back, and WHOOSH - they flew through her bedroom window into a starlit sky.
At the giggling mushrooms, a voice chimed: "What has keys but no locks?"
"A piano!" Lily declared.
The mushrooms laughed and revealed the first magic vita-min - a glowing orange crystal.
At the whispering willow, the leaves murmured: "What can fill a room but takes no space?"
"Light!" Lily cheered.
The willow's branches parted, showing the second vita-min - a shining blue gem.
At the crystal mountain, the peak echoed: "What must be broken before you can use it?"
Lily thought hard, then smiled. "An egg!"
The mountain rumbled happily and presented the final vita-min - a sparkly pink jewel.
As Zazu ate all three vita-mins, he grew full-sized! "Thank you, Lily! Your kindness and quick thinking saved magic itself!"
He pressed a kiss to her hair, leaving it forever shimmering with tiny sparkles.
"Now, whenever you brush your hair," Zazu whispered, "you'll remember - true magic comes from helping others!"
Lily flew back home, her sparkling hair twinkling like captured starlight. She knew she'd never forget her magical adventure with her new friend.
