The Sleepy Zombie's Sunny Day
In the deepest corner of Whispering Woods lived a tiny zombie named Zim. But Zim wasn't scary at all—he was just very, very sleepy. His green skin drooped like a wilted lettuce leaf, and he moved so slowly that snails often zoomed past him waving as they went.
Every morning, Zim would drag his feet to his favorite hollow log and nap. He didn't know why he was so tired all the time.
"Maybe I'm just a sleepy zombie," he sighed, watching butterflies dance.
One day, a cheerful girl named Penny skipped through the woods. She had a basket full of colorful bottles that sparkled in the sunlight.
"Hello there!" Penny called. "Why are you so droopy?"
"I'm always tired," Zim yawned. "I think zombies are just supposed to be sleepy."
Penny shook her head. "No way! My grandma is a forest wizard, and she taught me all about magical cures. Let me see..."
She pulled out a bottle labeled with a big orange **VITAMIN**. It glowed like captured sunshine.
"This is made from morning sunbeams and happy dreams," Penny explained. "One drop gives you energy!"
Zim's eyes widened. "Really?"
"But first," Penny said, pulling out another bottle, "you need this." She handed him the **WATER** bottle, filled with crystal-clear liquid from the Laughing Spring. "This water makes everything taste better and work better."
Zim drank the water first. It tickled his throat and made his toes wiggle. Then Penny added one drop of the sunshine vitamin to his cup.
Gulp!
Suddenly, Zim's green skin brightened. He stood up straight. His eyes popped open wide. Energy zinged through his whole body like tiny fireworks!
"I feel AMAZING!" Zim shouted, jumping up and down. "Look, I can dance!" He spun around and did a happy little jig.
Penny laughed and joined him. Together they danced through the forest, and all the animals clapped.
From that day on, Zim was never the sleepy zombie again. He learned that sometimes we feel tired because our bodies need special care—and good friends to help us find what we need.
And every morning, Zim drinks his magical water and sunshine vitamin, then spends the day having adventures with Penny, proving that even a zombie can sparkle with the right care.
