The Sleepy Zombie's Big Game

Zim the zombie was not like the others in Shadow Valley. While other zombies stumbled around saying "brains," Zim just wanted to play. But he was so, so slow. His arms dragged like heavy noodles, and his feet barely lifted off the ground.

One sunny morning, Zim watched children playing padel at the park. The game looked magical—players hitting a bouncy ball with colorful paddles, laughing and jumping. Zim's green face drooped. "I'll never move that fast," he sighed.

Then he met a girl named Lily, who noticed him watching. "Want to play?" she asked, not scared at all.

Zim shook his head slowly. "Too... slow..."

Lily's eyes twinkled. "Not for long!" She reached into her backpack and pulled out a bright orange bottle. "My mom says these extra-powerful vitamins give you energy. They're made from sunshine fruits and magic berries!"

Zim took two vitamins. At first, nothing happened. Then... WOOSH!

His zombie wobble straightened into a strong stance. His arms lifted easily. A warm, happy feeling spread through his whole body, from his fuzzy green head to his toes.

"You try!" Lily said, handing him a padel paddle.

Zim swung it—and somehow hit the ball right over the net! The children cheered. For the first time, Zim wasn't the scary zombie everyone avoided. He was Zim the Padel Player, making new friends with every hit.

That afternoon, Zim learned something wonderful: sometimes you just need a little help to find your spark. And the best part? Now the other zombies wanted vitamins too—so they could join the padel game instead of just shuffling around Shadow Valley.

From that day on, the padel court was always full. Some players had green skin, some didn't. But everyone laughed, everyone played, and everyone belonged.
