The Sleepy Star-Zombie's Magic Vitamin

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's magical garden. One sunny afternoon, she found something strange behind the blueberry bushes—a small creature with silvery skin and sparkly eyes, moving very, very slowly.

"Hello?" Lily whispered. The creature blinked once. Then twice. Then again, very slowly.

"I'm a star-zombie," it said in a voice like soft bells. "I fell from the sky and lost my sparkle. Now I'm just... slow."

Lily's heart went out to the poor little thing. It looked so sad, standing there like a statue that could barely move.

"My grandmother grows special sunshine tomatoes!" Lily exclaimed. "They're full of magic vitamin C—cosmic vitamin! It makes everything wake up!"

She ran to the garden and picked the brightest, orange-y tomato she could find. It practically glowed in her hands. "Here! Try this!"

The star-zombie took a tiny bite. Suddenly—WHOOSH! Its eyes widened, its silver skin started shimmering, and it did a little happy jump!

"I'm awake! I'm ALIVE!" it cheered. Then it grabbed Lily's hand. "Come with me! I know somewhere amazing!"

Together they ran to the magical pond in the forest. But this wasn't ordinary swimming—the star-zombie touched the water, and it turned into sparkling liquid starlight!

"Swimming with me!" it laughed, pulling her in.

Lily gasped. She wasn't just swimming—she was floating through glowing stars! The water felt like warm honey, and tiny starfish swam around them like friendly butterflies. They laughed and twirled, diving through rings of moonlight and racing with glowing fireflies.

"Thank you for helping me," the star-zombie said. "You didn't run away when I looked scary. You saw me—really saw me."

Lily smiled, understanding something important: sometimes things that seem different or strange just need a little help to shine.

"That's what friends do," she said.

They swam until sunset, when the star-zombie had to return to the sky. But Lily knew she'd made a friend forever—and learned that kindness is the most powerful magic of all.
