The Sleepy Sea Zombie

Leo loved swimming more than anything in the world. Every summer, he and his golden retriever Sunny would race to the beach, splashing into the waves until their fingers turned wrinkly. "I'm Zim," the creature sighed. "I'm a zombie, but not the scary kind. I'm the keeper of lost treasures, and I've been asleep for a hundred years."

Sunny barked happily, licking Zim's face. The zombie giggled, his eyes twinkling like stars.

"I've been waiting for someone brave enough to find my cable," Zim said, revealing shelves of magical toys lost by children over the years—sparkly shells, smooth stones, and a rusty compass that always pointed toward happiness.

Leo realized that things aren't always what they seem. The scary zombie was just lonely, and the mysterious cable had led him to the best adventure ever.

"Will you be my friend?" Zim asked shyly.

Leo smiled, taking Zim's wobbly hand. "Forever."
