The Sleepy Kingdom's Secret

Maya was playing games on her iPhone when something strange happened. The screen began to shimmer like a rainbow, and suddenly she tumbled right through it! She landed in a world where everything was purple and misty.

Maya saw people walking slowly, arms outstretched, eyes half-closed. They looked like zombie robots, but not scary ones—just very, very sleepy. A tiny fairy fluttered to her shoulder.

"Welcome to the Slumber Kingdom," the fairy whispered. "Everyone has been under the Sleeping Spell for one hundred years. Only the Golden Pyramid can break it."

Maya's heart pounded with excitement. She wanted to help! The fairy pointed toward a shimmering golden pyramid in the distance. But the path was blocked by sleepy zombies who moved in slow, dreamy circles.

"I know what to do!" Maya remembered what her grandmother always said. "Spinach gives you energy!" But she didn't have any spinach... or did she?

She reached into her pocket—her iPhone was still there! The fairy told her about the Magic Food App. Maya pressed it, and suddenly bunches of fresh, green spinach appeared.

Maya tossed spinach leaves to the sleepy zombies. As soon as they ate them, their eyes snapped open wide! They stretched, smiled, and thanked her. The spell was breaking!

Together, they all marched to the Golden Pyramid. Maya placed her hand on its gleaming surface. A burst of golden light filled the kingdom, waking everyone up. The king gave Maya a magical spinach charm that would always give her energy when she needed it.

When Maya returned home, her iPhone looked normal again. But now she knew: sometimes the smallest things—even vegetables—can be the most magical of all.
