The Sleepy Guardian's Gift
Mia and Leo were exploring the sandy hills behind their village when they spotted something strange. A green figure sat slumped against an ancient stone pyramid, looking terribly sad.
"Are you... a zombie?" Leo whispered, hiding behind Mia.
The creature sighed. "I am Zorg. But not the scary kind. I am the guardian of the Magic Pyramid. But I have forgotten why."
Zorg's skin looked dry and crumbly. His eyes drooped like wilting flowers.
"You need help!" Mia cried. "We'll help you remember!"
Inside the pyramid, the children discovered glowing blue water flowing down crystal walls. "Magical water!" Leo exclaimed. "Look, Zorg!" They gently splashed the cool water onto Zorg's face and arms.
Zorg's skin began to shine. "I remember something... The pyramid protects the Sun-Growing Garden!"
Deeper inside, they found a chamber filled with golden crystals shaped like tiny suns. Zorg's eyes widened. "The Sun Vitamins! These give energy to all the plants in the world!"
The ancient zombie guardian had been so long without water and vitamins that he'd forgotten his purpose. Now he remembered: every morning, he sprinkled sun vitamins into the magical water, which then flowed through underground rivers to make gardens bloom everywhere.
Zorg laughed—a sound like autumn leaves crunching happily. "Thank you, little friends! You saved not just me, but all the world's gardens!"
From that day on, Mia and Leo visited their zombie friend often. They learned that even the grumpiest, most forgotten creatures just need a little help to shine again. And every spring, when flowers burst into color, they knew Zorg was doing his job—thanks to water, vitamins, and the power of friendship.
