The Sleepy Forest Friend

Lily skipped through the sun-dappled forest with her golden **dog** Rusty trotting happily beside her. Rusty's ears flopped as he ran, and his tail wagged like a metronome keeping time to an invisible song.

"Look, Rusty!" Lily gasped, pointing to a magnificent tree with enormous orange fruits. "A **papaya** tree!"

Rusty barked excitedly as Lily reached for the glowing fruit. But suddenly, a strange figure shuffled from behind the tree—a green creature with droopy eyes and slow, clumsy movements.

"Is that a... **zombie**?" Lily whispered, her eyes wide. The creature looked nothing like the scary ones in stories. This one just looked tired.

The zombie sighed deeply. "I'm not scary," he said in a raspy voice. "I'm just exhausted. I haven't slept in weeks because the grumpy pixies stole my dream dust."

Lily's heart went out to him. "Rusty and I can help! But first, you need energy."

She remembered what her grandmother said about the magical **vitamin** found in sunrise papayas—the fruit that grows only when the first morning light touches it. "This papaya has special vitamins that restore magic!"

Lily sliced the papaya open with a smooth stone. Inside, the fruit shimmered with golden light. She offered it to the zombie, who ate it slowly.

Sparkles danced around him as his eyes brightened. "Thank you!" he exclaimed, his voice strong and clear. "Now I can help you find the dream dust!"

Together, they followed Rusty's keen nose to a hollow oak tree, where playful pixies were dancing with glowing blue dust. The zombie, whose name was Zippy, convinced them to share, and Lily sprinkled the dust over the forest.

That night, every creature slept peacefully. Lily learned that sometimes, what seems scary is just someone who needs help—and a little kindness can work magic like nothing else.
