The Sleepwalker's Star Path

Luna the fox and Barnaby the dog were the best of friends in the whole meadow. Every night, they watched the stars twinkle above.

One evening, they saw something strange — a creature walking slow and steady, eyes closed, arms stretched out. "It's a zombie!" Barnaby whispered, hiding behind Luna's fluffy tail.

But Luna, being clever and curious, crept closer. The creature wasn't scary at all. It was a sleepwalking star-gazer named Milo, who dreamed of finding the magical pyramid.

"I can help," Luna said gently. She nudged Milo awake. His eyes opened, sparkling like tiny galaxies. "I've been searching for years," he said sadly. "The pyramid that grants one true wish."

Barnaby stopped hiding. "We'll help you!"

They followed Milo's ancient map through whispering forests and bubbling brooks until they reached a hill where stones formed a perfect pyramid shape. But it was wrong — just rocks piled up.

Milo's shoulders slumped. "It was just a legend."

Then Luna noticed something. Above them, the brightest bull constellation lowered its horns until its star-light poured onto the rocks. The ordinary stones began to glow, transforming into crystal walls that shone with ancient magic.

"It was here all along," Luna whispered. "We just had to look with our hearts, not just our eyes."

The pyramid opened, revealing golden light within. Milo stepped inside and made his wish: "I wish for friends who see the real me."

The pyramid sparkled brighter than ever, and when they stepped out, Milo wasn't sleepwalking anymore. He was wide awake, smiling.

That night, under the watching bull in the sky, three friends sat together — a clever fox, a loyal dog, and a friend who had once been lost but was now found.

Sometimes the scariest things just need someone brave enough to say hello.
