The Sky Island's Secret Game
Leo loved visiting his grandmother's house, especially the giant **palm** tree in her garden. Its leaves whispered secrets in the wind, and Leo always felt magic nearby.
One afternoon, while chasing his **baseball** through the garden, Leo noticed something strange—a shimmering golden **cable** hanging from the palm tree's highest branch. It stretched up into the clouds, disappearing into the blue sky.
Curious, Leo climbed. Hand over hand, he ascended until the clouds parted and he gasped. Above the clouds lay a floating island!
"Hello there!" A deep but gentle voice rumbled. Leo turned to see the biggest **bull** he'd ever seen—but this bull had sparkling purple eyes and a friendly smile.
"I'm Barnaby," the bull said. "I've been waiting centuries for someone to find my sky island."
Barnaby showed Leo around the magical island. The most amazing sight? Trees dripping with golden **papaya** fruits.
"These aren't ordinary papayas," Barnaby whispered. "One bite gives you the power of flight for one whole hour."
Leo took a bite and suddenly floated upward, laughing with delight. Barnaby ate one too, and soon they were zooming around the island like shooting stars.
"Will you play baseball with me?" Barnaby asked shyly. "I invented cloud-ball."
They played the most wonderful game, hitting papayas that turned into rainbows when struck. Leo had never felt so free.
"I have to go home soon," Leo said as his feet touched the ground again.
"Visit anytime," Barnaby said. "But Leo?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you for seeing me as a friend, not a monster. That's the greatest magic of all."
Leo climbed down the golden cable, his heart full. Sometimes, he realized, the most wonderful friendships come from the most unexpected places—all you have to do is be brave enough to reach for them.
