The Sky-High Baseball Game

Leo loved throwing his baseball against the old oak tree in his backyard. But today, something magical happened. The ball bounced higher than usual—so high it disappeared into a fluffy white cloud!

Leo looked up and gasped. A giant, friendly bull poked his head out of the cloud! The bull had sparkling golden horns and a coat that shimmered like rainbows.

"Hello there!" said the bull, whose name was Barnaby. "I'm the Cloud Bull. I guard the dreams of all children."

Leo couldn't believe it. A talking bull in the sky!

"Would you like to be my friend?" Barnaby asked. "I get lonely up here with only the birds for company."

"Yes!" Leo cheered. "But how will I get up there?"

Barnaby smiled mischievously. A long, shimmering cable suddenly dropped from the cloud, glowing with stardust. It stretched all the way to Leo's feet.

"Climb aboard!" Barnaby said. "But first, take this." He handed Leo a small orange pill. "It's a courage vitamin. It'll help you believe in magic."

Leo swallowed it and suddenly felt warm and brave inside. He grabbed the magical cable and—WHOOSH—he was pulled up into the sky!

When Leo reached the cloud, he couldn't believe his eyes. A baseball field floated on the clouds, with bases made of cotton candy and a bat that sparkled like lightning.

"Let's play!" Barnaby said. He used his golden horns as a bat, and Leo threw his magical baseball. Every time Barnaby hit the ball, it burst into fireworks that painted the sky with colors.

They played until sunset, when the sky turned purple and gold. Leo's courage vitamin was wearing off, but he didn't need it anymore. He had found a new friend and learned that magic exists if you just believe.

"Come back tomorrow!" Barnaby called as Leo slid down the cable.

Leo ran to his house, his heart full of wonder. Some things, he discovered, are more amazing than any dream—and the best adventures are the ones you share with a friend.
