The Sky Cable's Secret
Lily loved looking at the stars from her window. Every night, she watched the great constellation Bull Taurus, with his golden horns and kind eyes twinkling in the dark.
One magical evening, Lily saw something extraordinary - a glimmering cable stretching across the sky like a silver thread connecting the stars. Without thinking, she grabbed her favorite blanket and started running toward the edge of town where the cable seemed to anchor.
At the end of a hidden path, she found a tiny cable car waiting for her. It sparkled with starlight! Lily climbed inside, and with a gentle whoosh, she was floating upward, higher and higher among the clouds.
The car stopped at a floating garden, and there stood the most magnificent bull Lily had ever seen. His coat shone like midnight, with actual stars twinkling in his fur. But he looked terribly sad.
"Hello, little friend," the bull rumbled softly. "I'm Ferdinand, and I have a big problem."
His magical spinach garden was wilting! The emerald leaves that gave the stars their glow were losing their sparkle. Ferdinand explained that the star-spinach needed children's laughter to grow strong, but no children had visited in a hundred years.
Lily knew just what to do. She told Ferdinand her funniest jokes, did cartwheels, and danced with the bull under the starlight. As they laughed together, something magical happened - the spinach began to shimmer and grow tall, its leaves turning bright emerald green again!
Ferdinand was so happy he gave Lily a special gift: a small pouch of enchanted spinach seeds. "Plant these in your garden," he said, "and whenever you need to visit, just eat one leaf. You'll fly right up the sky cable!"
Now Lily visits her friend Ferdinand every week. They tend the magical garden together, and sometimes she brings other children to share in the laughter and wonder. Because friendship and joy are the most powerful magic of all.
