The Secret Vitamin Spy Squad
Lily discovered the most unusual thing while cleaning her grandmother's attic: a tiny bottle filled with sparkling rainbow pills. The label read "Friendship Vitamins" in faded gold letters.
"One dose helps you see who needs a friend," Grandma explained with a wink. "But use them wisely."
Lily popped one vitamin and gasped. Suddenly, she noticed her new neighbor Max sitting alone on his front steps, looking lonely. His backpack lay forgotten beside him, stuffed with unfinished homework.
That night, Lily became a secret agent of kindness. She crept outside like a spy and left a handwritten note on Max's doorstep: "You're awesome!" Then she disappeared into the shadows before anyone could see her.
The next day, Max found the note and smiled for the first time.
Lily took another friendship vitamin. This time, she saw Mrs. Hernandez struggling to carry her groceries. Again, Lily played spy, rushing to leave the bags on her porch when she wasn't looking.
But someone else was being a secret helper too! One afternoon, Lily spotted another figure darting behind bushes, leaving flowers on doorsteps. Who was this other spy?
She followed the mysterious helper to the park—and found Max!
"You're the other one!" they both exclaimed, laughing.
"I take vitamins too," Max whispered. "They help me see who's lonely."
"We're friends now," Lily said. "The Secret Vitamin Spy Squad!"
Together, they discovered the best secret of all: the vitamins stopped working because they didn't need them anymore. Their hearts had grown so full of friendship that they could see who needed help all by themselves.
And that was the greatest magic of all.
