The Secret Vitamin Spy
Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and run to the park, dreaming of hitting a home run. But Leo was small, and he always struck out.
One Tuesday, Grandma Mira visited with a sparkling blue jar. "This is a special vitamin," she whispered with a wink. "It gives you superhero vision. But you must use it to help others."
Leo took the tiny yellow tablet, and suddenly the world looked different! He could see patterns in everything—especially during baseball practice. When his friend Maya swung at the ball, Leo noticed she leaned too far left. When Sammy caught fly balls, Leo saw he always started running a split second too late.
"You're like a baseball spy!" Maya laughed when Leo pointed out how to fix her swing. "You notice everything!"
That Saturday, the most important game of the season arrived. The other team was winning, and Leo's teammates felt discouraged. But Leo's special vision helped him see things no one else could.
"Sammy, move two steps left!" he called. "Maya, watch for the curve ball!" Leo couldn't hit well himself, but he could help everyone else play better than ever.
His teammates made amazing catches and hit perfect shots. They won the game, and everyone cheered—even though Leo never touched his bat once.
"You're the real hero," said the coach, and Leo felt proud.
Later, Grandma Mira explained there was nothing magical in the vitamin after all. "The magic was always inside you, Leo. You just needed to believe in yourself and help others."
That day, Leo learned the best superpower isn't being perfect—it's helping your friends be their best selves.
