The Secret Vitamin Mission
Every morning, seven-year-old Max would take his orange vitamin with breakfast. He thought it was just for growing strong bones, but today something magical happened.
While running through the backyard to catch the school bus, Max noticed the garden pool glowing with twinkling blue lights. He stopped and leaned over the edge. To his surprise, tiny creatures with shimmering fins popped out of the water!
"Hello, Max!" said a little water sprite named Splash. "Your vitamin has given you the Sight! You can see us now!"
Splash explained that their magical pool was in danger. The Polluting Phantom was planning to turn their beautiful water into murky sludge. They needed help fast!
"I need a brave spy to watch for the Phantom tonight," Splash said. "Will you help us?"
Max's heart raced with excitement. He would be a real spy! That night, he tiptoed to the pool with his flashlight. Hidden behind a bush, he waited and watched.
Suddenly, dark clouds swirled above. The Polluting Phantom appeared—a shadowy figure holding a bottle of yucky green goo. Just as the Phantom was about to pour it into the water, Max jumped out!
"Stop!" he yelled, turning his flashlight on bright.
The Phantom was so startled that he tripped and dropped his bottle into the garden instead. With a *poof*, the Phantom vanished in a puff of smoke.
The water sprites cheered and splashed with joy. Splash swam to Max and pressed a beautiful seashell into his hand. "Thank you, Max! You saved our home! Whenever you need help, just blow this shell, and we'll come."
Max smiled as he looked at the pool, now sparkling under the moonlight. Being a spy was exciting, but being a friend was even better.
The next morning, Max took his vitamin like always. But now he knew that sometimes, the smallest things can lead to the biggest adventures—and true heroes are kind to everyone, even tiny water sprites.
