The Secret Vitamin Friends

Lily hated taking her vitamins. Every morning, her mom handed her the orange chewable tablet, and Lily made a funny face before swallowing it.

But one Tuesday morning, something magical happened. As Lily held the vitamin up to the sunlight, she saw something sparkle inside. She brought it closer to her eye and gasped — a tiny creature, no bigger than her thumb, was waving at her!

"Hello!" said the tiny creature, popping out of the vitamin like it was a little house. "I'm Pip! I've been waiting to meet you!"

"You live in my vitamin?" Lily whispered, her eyes wide with wonder.

"We ALL do!" Pip giggled. Suddenly, twelve more tiny creatures popped out — all different colors, all wearing tiny spy gear. "We're the Vitamin Squad! We're like secret agents who sneak around your body at night, fixing things and making you strong."

Lily couldn't believe it. "You're spies?"

"The best kind!" Pip said proudly. "We spy on ouchies and chase away germs. But tonight, we have a BIG mission. Are you brave enough to come with us?"

Lily nodded so hard her hair bounced. That night, when the house was quiet, Pip sprinkled magical dust on her, and suddenly Lily was tiny too — small enough to ride on Pip's shoulder!

They went running through Lily's body like it was a magical kingdom. They fixed a scraped knee from earlier that day. They chased away a cold virus that was trying to sneak in. They even made sure Lily's bones grew strong while she slept.

"Being a spy is hard work," Pip said, wiping his forehead. "But it's worth it when our friend stays healthy."

By morning, Lily was back in her bed, normal size again. But now she knew the truth. Those weren't just vitamins — they were tiny friends working hard to keep her safe, healthy, and strong.

From that day on, Lily never made a funny face when taking her vitamins. Instead, she whispered, "Thank you, Vitamin Squad," and smiled, knowing her best friends were already inside her, ready for their next secret mission.
