The Secret Squirrel Squad
Leo popped the orange vitamin into his mouth every morning after breakfast. His mom said it would make him strong and healthy, but she never mentioned it would give him SUPERPOWERS.
One sunny Tuesday, Leo swallowed his vitamin and trotted to the park for baseball practice. That's when he heard it: a tiny, squeaky voice saying, "Target acquired. The human approaches."
Leo spun around. No one was there.
"Down here, silly!"
A fluffy gray squirrel sat on the park bench, wearing what looked like a miniature acorn cap on its head. "I'm Agent Nutty. I'm a spy for the Secret Squirrel Squad."
Leo's jaw dropped. "You can talk?"
"Only to you! That vitamin you took? It's made with special magic berries from our forest. Now you're part of our team!" Agent Nutty twitched his tail. "And we need your help. A baby bird fell from its nest, and the big game is tomorrow. If people see the nest, they might cut down the tree!"
Leo looked at his baseball glove, then at the squirrel. His coach always said teamwork meant helping everyone — even furry friends.
"What do we do?" Leo asked.
Agent Nutty handed him a small acorn. "Climb the tree and put this back. It's magic — it'll glue the nest back together!"
Leo climbed carefully, his heart pounding. The nest was high, and his baseball practice had made him strong. He placed the acorn, and the nest stuck to the branch like magic!
The mother bird chirped with gratitude.
"Thanks, Leo!" Agent Nutty called. "You're not just a baseball player. You're a NATURE HERO!"
The next day, Leo hit the winning home run. But his favorite moment wasn't the trophy — it was seeing Agent Nutty and the squirrel squad cheering from the trees, their tiny paws waving in the air.
That night, Leo hugged his mom extra tight. Some vitamins do more than make you strong. They help you discover that real superheroes help friends, no matter how small or furry they might be.
