The Secret Sky Pool

Lily loved summer days. She especially loved the old swimming pool in her backyard, but today something strange happened. When she jumped in, she didn't hit water — she floated right through the bottom and into a sky kingdom!

"You must be my new friend!" said a tiny blue dragon with sparkly wings. "I've been waiting so long!"

Lily couldn't believe it. A real dragon! "Where am I?"

"The Sky Kingdom! But we're in big trouble. The Crystal Baseball keeps our world floating, and it's fallen into the Shadow Pond!"

Lily's heart raced. An adventure! She followed the dragon through clouds shaped like cotton candy. They found a grumpy troll guarding the Shadow Pond.

"Only those who are brave and kind may pass," the troll grumbled.

Lily thought hard. Back home, she had helped her little brother learn to catch a ball. She had shared her lunch with a sad friend at school. "I'm brave when I help others, and kind because... because it feels good inside."

The troll smiled. "Then take this Magic Vitamin — it will give you the courage to dive deep!"

The vitamin was golden and shimmering. When Lily ate it, she felt warm and strong, like sunshine filling her whole body. She dove into the Shadow Pond and found the glowing Crystal Baseball at the very bottom.

But it was tangled in something — an old television cable from the human world! How strange!

Lily pulled and tugged. The cable snapped, and she grabbed the Crystal Baseball just in time. When she surfaced, the whole Sky Kingdom cheered.

"You saved us!" the dragon cried. "You're the bravest friend ever!"

The kingdom's king gave Lily a special gift: whenever she wanted to visit, she just had to tap her old pool three times and whisper "friendship."

That night, Lily floated back through her pool and landed softly on her towel. She looked up at the stars and waved. She knew that sometimes the most magical adventures are hiding in the most ordinary places. And that kindness and bravery are the real magic that makes anything possible.
