The Secret Sky Garden
Lily loved the old palm tree in her backyard. Its fronds swayed like dancing green fingers, and she loved to sit beneath it and dream. One day, she noticed something strange—a golden cable wrapped around the highest branch, stretching up into the clouds!
Curious, Lily climbed the palm tree, her small hands finding the familiar grooves in the bark. At the top, she found a magical basket attached to the cable. It shimmered with rainbow colors!
"Whoosh!" The basket lifted her up, up, up through the clouds until she reached a floating garden. There, palm trees grew the most beautiful oranges she had ever seen—some glowed like tiny suns, others sparkled like jewels.
An old woman with silver hair and kind eyes appeared. "Welcome, Lily! These are Dream Oranges. Each one holds a special wish—but only for children with pure hearts."
Lily's eyes widened. "Can I really make a wish?"
"Of course, dear child. But remember—the best wishes are those that help others."
Lily thought carefully. She could wish for toys, or candy, or anything she wanted. But then she remembered her friend Sam, who had been sad because his grandmother was sick. So she wished for Sam's grandmother to feel better.
The old woman smiled warmly. "A kind wish indeed." She handed Lily a glowing orange. "Take this down the cable. When you share it with your friend, something magical will happen."
Lily rode the basket back down, clutching the precious orange. When she reached the ground, she ran straight to Sam's house. Together, they shared the orange, and suddenly—Sam's grandmother sat up in bed, smiling and full of energy!
From that day on, Lily visited the secret sky garden often, always sharing the Dream Oranges with children who needed them. She learned that the best magic of all is kindness, and that true happiness comes from helping others.
