The Secret Sky Cable
Lila loved running through the meadow behind her house, especially at sunset when the fireflies began their nightly dance. Every evening, she'd race the wind, her laughter trailing behind her like ribbons of light.
One evening, something extraordinary caught her eye. High above the tallest oak tree, a glittering cable stretched across the sky, shimmering with rainbow colors. It pulsed and glowed, connecting cloud to cloud like a magical bridge.
"What are you doing up there?" Lila whispered, craning her neck.
Suddenly, a tiny figure appeared on the cable. It was a star spy—a small, glowing creature with silver wings and eyes that sparkled like diamonds. The star spy was carefully walking along the cable, carrying a basket full of fallen stars.
"Careful, careful," the star spy murmured, collecting each star with gentle hands. "These belong to children who've forgotten their dreams."
Lila couldn't believe her eyes. The star spy was returning lost dreams to children who had stopped believing in magic!
"I can help!" Lila called out, running toward the oak tree. She climbed as high as she could, reaching toward the magical cable.
The star spy smiled warmly and descended on moonbeams. "You have a kind heart, Lila. Would you like to be my helper?"
Together, they worked until dawn, returning stars to children's windows all over the world. Lila learned that the most important job wasn't spying on people—it was watching over their dreams and helping them believe again.
From that night on, whenever Lila went running through the meadow, she'd look up at the glittering cable and wave to her friend the star spy. And every time a child made a wish, Lila knew exactly where that wish was going—straight up the magical cable, toward the stars, where dreams always come true.
