The Secret Pyramid Pool

Leo and Mia loved playing padel in the backyard. The small racquet ball went *zippety-zap* back and forth between them. *Bop! Bop! Bop!* They laughed under the warm afternoon sun.

One swing sent the ball flying over the fence—*swoosh!*—right into old Mr. Rivera's yard.

"Oh no!" Leo gasped. "That pool!"

They tiptoed through the gate. The ball floated in the middle of Mr. Rivera's swimming pool. But something strange was happening. The water began to glow.

*Sparkle. Shimmer. Shine.*

Suddenly, a golden pyramid rose from the bottom of the pool! Water cascaded down its shimmering sides like a magical waterfall. The pyramid had hieroglyphics that pulsed with blue light.

A door appeared on the pyramid's surface, carved with the shape of a padel racquet.

"It's a puzzle!" Mia whispered.

Leo grabbed his padel from his bag. He tapped the carving—*click, click, click*—in a special rhythm. The door swung open.

Inside sat Mr. Rivera, smiling on a floating throne. "You found my secret swimming pool kingdom!" He chuckled.

The pyramid was filled with toys and games. There were magical padel racquets that played by themselves, and a pool filled with rainbow-colored water.

"I was waiting for children who loved adventure," Mr. Rivera said. "You passed the test!"

He gave them each a special glowing padel ball. "These grant wishes. But only for sharing."

Leo and Mia looked at each other and smiled. "We wish for Sam to come play too!"

*POOF!* Their friend appeared, splashing into the rainbow pool with joyful laughter.

They spent the afternoon playing padel on floating platforms while the golden pyramid shimmered above them. They learned that the best magic is the kind you share with friends.

Every summer after, when the sun shone bright, the three friends would gather at the pool. They'd tap their padel racquets against the pyramid door, and the magic would begin all over again.

For the greatest treasure wasn't gold or jewels—it was friendship, freely given and joyfully received.
