The Secret Pyramid Pool

Lily loved spending hot summer days in her backyard pool. But one Tuesday morning, something magical appeared.

When she looked out her window, she gasped. A shimmering golden pyramid stood at the bottom of the pool, glowing with rainbow colors.

She ran outside in her swimsuit and dove straight in. The water felt warm and tingled against her skin. As she reached the pyramid, it began to hum softly.

"Hello, Lily," a voice bubbled up from the golden surface.

Lily spun around. Floating beside her was a girl with silver hair and eyes like stars.

"I'm Mina," the girl said with a smile. "I come from the Pyramid World between dimensions. I've been watching you."

"You've been spying on me?" Lily asked, surprised.

"Not spying like that," Mina said quickly. "Watching because I needed a friend. In my world, everyone is too busy being magical to play. You looked like you'd be a wonderful friend."

The pyramid suddenly opened like a flower. Inside, Lily could see another world—a place with floating islands, rivers of starlight, and trees that grew candy.

"Would you like to visit?" Mina asked. "We could have adventures together."

Lily's heart raced with excitement. "Yes! But can I come back?"

"Of course," Mina promised. "True friends can always find each other."

They swam through the pyramid together into the magical world. They climbed cloud mountains, tasted rainbow rivers, and danced with fireflies that sang songs.

When it was time to return home, Mina gave Lily a small golden pyramid on a chain. "Touch this when you miss me. I'll feel it too."

Lily floated back through the water and surfaced in her own pool. The big pyramid was gone, but her necklace still glowed warmly.

That night, as she touched the golden pyramid, Lily understood something important: sometimes the best adventures come when you least expect them, and true friendship can bridge any world—even magical ones between stars.

And every summer after that, when she swam in her pool, she'd feel that tingling magic warmth, knowing her friend was never far away.
