The Secret Pyramid in the Deep

Lila loved the water more than anything. Every summer day, she would go swimming in the crystal blue lake near her grandmother's cottage. Her long brown hair would float around her like seaweed as she dove beneath the surface.

One Tuesday, something magical happened. As Lila swam deeper than usual, she spotted something strange glimmering at the bottom of the lake. A golden pyramid! It shouldn't be there — pyramids belonged in deserts, not in lakes. But there it was, shining with mysterious light.

Curious and brave, Lila swam closer. The pyramid wasn't made of stone. It was made of shimmering water-magic, pulsing with gentle ripples. Inside, she could see someone waving.

Lila swam through the water walls and gasped. Inside the pyramid, the water was warm and filled with glowing bubbles. A girl with hair that changed color like a rainbow sat on a soft coral throne.

"Hello!" said the girl. "I'm Marina. I've been waiting for a friend."

Lila couldn't believe it. "You live here? In this magic pyramid?"

Marina nodded. "My family are the guardians of the lake. We protect all the creatures and keep the water pure. But I get lonely. Would you be my friend?"

Lila's heart swelled. "Yes! But how will I visit you? I can't stay underwater forever."

Marina smiled and touched Lila's hand. A tiny shell appeared on Lila's palm. "Whenever you want to visit, hold this shell and think of me. The water will always welcome you."

And so Lila gained a secret friend. She learned that the greatest discoveries come from being curious, and that true friendship can blossom anywhere — even in an underwater pyramid made of magic and dreams.

Every summer, Lila returns to swim with Marina, their two worlds connected by wonder, friendship, and the timeless magic of water.
