The Secret Pyramid in My Palm

Lily loved secrets. Her favorite was the one she discovered on her tenth birthday, right in the middle of her backyard.

That morning, something golden flashed near the old oak tree. Lily crept closer, being very quiet like a tiny **spy**. What she found made her gasp—a miniature golden **pyramid** no bigger than her thumb, glowing with mysterious light.

When she picked it up, the pyramid grew warm in her **palm**. suddenly, she wasn't in her backyard anymore. She stood in a magical desert where the sand sparkled like sugar.

"Hello, small friend," boomed a gentle voice.

Lily looked up—and up—and up! A magnificent golden **bull** with kind amber eyes bowed his giant head. "I am Buster, guardian of the Secret Pyramid. You have found us!"

"I didn't mean to intrude," Lily whispered.

Buster chuckled. "You didn't. Magic brought you here because you have a pure heart. The pyramid appears only to those who love mysteries and respect secrets."

He showed Lily amazing wonders—flowers that sang when you touched them, streams flowing with lemonade, butterflies that left trails of rainbow dust. But the most special thing was the Hall of Hidden Dreams, where every child's secret wish floated like a glowing bubble.

Lily saw her wish: to share adventures with someone special.

"Take this," Buster said, pressing a tiny golden bell into her hand. "Ring it when you need a friend who understands magic."

When Lily opened her eyes, she was back in her backyard. The miniature pyramid was gone, but the golden bell remained around her neck on a silver chain.

That afternoon, her new neighbor Mateo moved in next door. He was looking at something in his garden—a miniature silver pyramid glowing softly in his palm.

Lily smiled and rang her tiny bell.

Mateo looked up, eyes wide with wonder.

Some secrets are too wonderful to keep to yourself.
