The Secret Pyramid in Leo's Hair
Leo had the messiest hair in the world. It stuck up like golden wheat in a windstorm, no matter how much he brushed it. But Leo didn't mind. His hair made him feel special.
One morning, while Leo was brushing his teeth, he noticed something sparkling near his left ear. He peered into the mirror and gasped. There, tangled in his wild curls, was a tiny pyramid no bigger than his thumb! It glowed with soft purple light, and miniature stars swirled around its tip.
"Whoa," Leo whispered. He became a detective, a spy in his own bathroom, watching the pyramid carefully. Was it magic? Was it alien?
Suddenly, a tiny creature climbed out from behind the pyramid. It was a bull—the size of a ladybug—with golden fur and kind eyes. The bull bowed.
"Greetings, Tall One," the bull squeaked in a voice like jingle bells. "I'm Barnaby. This is the Pyramid of Wishes. It only appears in the hair of children with big imaginations."
Leo's eyes widened. "A Pyramid of Wishes? In my hair?"
"Indeed!" Barnaby trotted along Leo's shoulder. "Every night, while you dream, the pyramid collects your happiest thoughts. Come sunrise, it sprinkles wish-dust into the world. A butterfly gets extra colorful. A flower blooms brighter. Someone's lost toy is found."
Leo thought hard. "So my messy hair isn't messy at all?"
"Oh no," Barnaby laughed. "Your hair is a wishing station! Why do you think you always wake up smiling?"
From that day on, Leo never complained about his wild hair again. He became its secret protector, the quiet spy who watched for Barnaby's tiny footprints. Sometimes, he'd find mini gifts: a flower petal, a glittery stone, a note written in teeny-tiny letters: "Keep dreaming, Leo."
And every night, Leo went to sleep with an extra-big smile, knowing his messy, wonderful hair was making the world a little more magical, one wish at a time.
