The Secret Pyramid Guardian
Lily and Max loved playing **spy** in their backyard. With handmade magnifying glasses and secret codes, they were the best detectives in the neighborhood.
One hot afternoon, while tracking a mysterious trail of glitter, they discovered something amazing. Behind the old oak tree sat a tiny crystal **pyramid**, no bigger than a lunchbox. It shimmered like a rainbow in the sunlight.
"What's that?" Max whispered, tapping it gently.
Suddenly, the pyramid glowed! A small figure emerged — a fuzzy green creature with one eye and patchy fur. It looked like a toy **zombie** from their games, but this one was real!
The little zombie trembled. "Please don't run! I'm Zimby, the Guardian."
"Guardian of what?" Lily asked bravely.
Zimby led them inside the pyramid, where walls sparkled like stars. In the center flowed a stream of magical **water** that sparkled in every color imaginable.
"This is Wonder Water," Zimby explained sadly. "It makes dreams come true. But I'm all alone. Everyone runs away because they think I'm scary."
Lily and Max looked at their new friend. Zimby wasn't scary at all — he was just lonely.
"We won't run," Max said. "We'll be your friends!"
They played all afternoon, splashing in the magical stream. When Zimby touched the water with his finger, beautiful flowers bloomed instantly.
"Zimby," Lily said, "you're not a zombie. You're a magician!"
From that day on, Lily and Max visited their friend every week. They learned that sometimes the scariest-looking things are actually the most wonderful — you just have to be brave enough to say hello.
And the best part? Real spies don't just solve mysteries. They find friends in the most unexpected places.
