The Secret Pyramid Garden

Lily loved two things: solving mysteries and gardening. One sunny afternoon, while playing detective in her backyard, she noticed something strange. Her neighbor Mr. Green's garden had a peculiar shape — a perfect green pyramid rising from the soil!

"What are you growing, Mr. Green?" Lily called out, spying through the wooden fence.

The old man chuckled. "Come see, little detective."

Lily rushed next door and gasped. The pyramid was made entirely of spinach plants! But not ordinary spinach — these leaves shimmered like emeralds.

"This is my magical spinach pyramid," Mr. Green explained. "Once every hundred years, it grants one wish to someone with a pure heart."

Lily's eyes widened. "A wish? Like, for real?"

Mr. Green nodded. "But you must solve the riddle of the pyramid first."

He pointed to a stone tablet at the pyramid's base. It read: "I am tall when I'm young, and short when I'm old. What am I?"

Lily thought hard. She paced around the spinach pyramid, spying at it from every angle. The wind rustled the green leaves.

"A candle!" Lily exclaimed suddenly. "Tall when new, short as it burns!"

The spinach pyramid began to glow. Golden sparkles swirled around Lily, and a gentle voice spoke: "What is your wish, clever child?"

Lily thought of all the toys and games she wanted. But then she looked at Mr. Green, who lived alone. "I wish for Mr. Green to have friends to share his wonderful garden with."

The pyramid sparkled brighter. Suddenly, children from all over the neighborhood rushed into the yard, drawn by the magical glow. They marveled at the spinach pyramid and asked Mr. Green to teach them about gardening.

Mr. Green's eyes filled with happy tears. "Thank you, Lily."

From that day on, the spinach pyramid wasn't just a magical secret anymore. It became a place where friends gathered, where stories were shared, and where Lily learned that the best wishes are those that help others.
