The Secret Pyramid Garden

Maya hated spinach. Every time her mom put those green leaves on her plate, she made a face. "It's like eating grass!" she'd complain.

One afternoon, while poking at her spinach with a fork, Maya's iphone suddenly buzzed. Not a normal buzz — a magical, tingling buzz that made her fingers sparkle. When she tapped the screen, the camera turned on by itself.

Through the screen, Maya saw something impossible. In the middle of her backyard, a tiny golden pyramid glowed. It was only as tall as her knee, but it pulsed with rainbow light.

Maya ran outside. The pyramid was real! Its sides shimmered like honey, and strange symbols danced across its surface. When she got close, the pyramid spoke.

"I am the Pyramid of Vitamins," it chimed in a voice like wind chimes. "For a thousand years, I've guarded the magical vitamins that give children their special gifts — courage for the scared, creativity for the stuck, kindness for the mean. But my power is fading."

"What can I do?" Maya asked, her eyes wide.

"The magic vitamins need one special ingredient to grow again," the pyramid explained. "Something green and leafy, full of earth's power. Something children often refuse to eat."

Maya's eyes widened. "Spinach?"

The pyramid glowed brighter. "Exactly! Will you help me?"

Maya thought about all the times she'd pushed spinach away. Then she thought about all the children who needed courage, creativity, and kindness. She nodded and ran inside.

When she returned with a bowl of spinach, the pyramid hummed with joy. Maya placed the green leaves around its base. The spinach leaves began to glow — first green, then pink, then gold. They floated up and swirled around the pyramid like tiny green stars.

CRACK! The pyramid opened, and hundreds of colorful vitamins spilled out — red ones for bravery, blue ones for wisdom, yellow ones for joy. They caught the wind and danced away to find children who needed them.

"Thank you, Maya," the pyramid whispered. "You learned that sometimes the things we think we don't like are exactly what we need. That's the most important vitamin of all — an open mind."

That night, Maya ate every bite of spinach on her plate. And somewhere deep inside, she felt a little braver, a little kinder, and a little more magical than before.
