The Secret Pool of Starlight

Lila loved running through the Whispering Woods, her bare feet padding softly on the mossy ground. Every morning at dawn, she would race the sunbeams as they danced between the ancient trees, laughing as the wind tickled her cheeks.

One Tuesday, something magical happened. While running her favorite path, Lila discovered a hidden clearing she had never seen before. In the center glimmered a small pool, its water sparkling like liquid diamonds. But what made it truly extraordinary was what floated inside—tiny glowing spheres that pulsed with rainbow colors.

"Each sphere is a special vitamin from the stars," a gentle voice said. Lila turned to see an old badger with twinkling blue eyes. "The Moon Fairy leaves them here for children who need extra courage, kindness, or joy."

Lila's eyes grew wide. "Vitamins from stars?"

"Indeed," the badger nodded. "The orange ones give you energy to run faster and dream bigger. The purple ones fill your heart with kindness. The green ones help you see magic everywhere."

That afternoon, Lila thought of her friend Toby, who had been feeling sad and tired lately. Instead of taking a vitamin for herself, she ran all the way to Toby's house and brought him to the secret pool.

"Which one should I choose?" Toby asked, his eyes shining.

"Close your eyes and pick with your heart," Lila said.

Toby reached into the glowing water and pulled out a shimmering blue sphere. The moment he touched it, his smile returned, brighter than ever.

"Thank you, Lila," he said, squeezing her hand. "This is the best adventure ever."

Running home under the starlight, Lila realized something wonderful: sharing magic with others felt even better than finding it herself. And that, she decided, was the greatest vitamin of all.
