Lily loved running through the palm grove behind her house. The towering trees whispered secrets in the breeze, their fronds dancing like green fingers waving hello.

"It connects lonely hearts," the woman smiled. "Watch."

She pressed a palm against the cable, and it glowed golden. Far away, a sad boy named Max felt warmth fill his chest. Someone wanted to be his friend!

"But how will he find us?" Lily asked.

Lily's palm tingled as she touched the cable. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Max appeared, looking surprised but happy.

"I felt... I don't know how, but I knew someone wanted to meet me," Max said shyly.
