The Secret Padel Court
Lily loved playing padel with her dad at the old court near their house. But today, something magical happened. When her bright yellow ball rolled through a crack in the wall, Lily crawled after it and tumbled into a secret garden.
In the middle of the garden stood a giant brown bull with sparkling golden horns. But this wasn't a scary bull — he wore a tiny bowtie!
"Hello there!" said the bull, whose name was Barnaby. "I'm a spy for the Enchanted Kingdom. I watch for anyone who might need magic."
Lily's eyes went wide. "A spy? Really?"
Suddenly, a green creature shuffled out from behind a mushroom. It looked like a zombie, but with a friendly smile and flower petals in its hair.
"This is Zara," said Barnaby. "She's a zombie, but the nicest one you'll ever meet. She just wanted a friend to play with."
Zara nodded shyly and held out a bouncy ball. "Play?"
Lily grinned. "Yes! Let's play padel!"
They played until sunset — Lily, Barnaby the spy bull, and Zara the friendly zombie. When it was time to go, Barnaby whispered, "Come back anytime. True friends are the greatest magic of all."
Lily crawled back through the crack, her heart full. She discovered that the best adventures happen when you're open to making new friends — even ones who might seem different at first. And every time she played padel now, she wondered who might be watching from the secret garden, ready for another magical game.
