The Secret of the Tiny Pyramid

Lily had the most extraordinary hair in her entire class. It bounced like springs and stuck out in every direction, especially when she was excited. And today, she was VERY excited.

Behind the old oak tree in her backyard, something shiny caught her eye. Lily knelt down and gasped. There, half-buried in the dirt, was a miniature pyramid no bigger than her thumb, made of sparkling blue crystal.

"Wow!" she whispered, carefully picking it up.

Suddenly, the pyramid clicked open like a puzzle box. Inside sat the tiniest goldfish she had ever seen, floating in what looked like a bubble of water!

"Greetings!" squeaked the goldfish. "I'm Finn, and I need your help. I'm a spy for the Kingdom of Dreams!"

Lily's eyes went wide. "A spy? But you're a goldfish!"

"The best kind!" Finn swam in a circle. "Nobody suspects a fish. But my mission is in trouble. I need something green and magical to complete my quest."

Lily thought hard. Green and magical... Her grandmother's garden! "Follow me!"

She carried Finn (still in his bubble) to the garden patch where the freshest spinach grew. "My grandma says spinach gives you super strength!"

Finn's scales shimmered. "Perfect! Dream Spinach — exactly what I need to power the Dream Lighthouse!"

Lily plucked a leaf and held it near the bubble. The spinach glowed, turned into sparkles, and floated right through the bubble into Finn's mouth.

"Thank you, friend!" Finn cheered, growing brighter. "You saved the Kingdom!" He tapped his tail against the crystal walls, and the pyramid suddenly projected a beautiful image into the air — a world made of clouds and rainbows.

"Come visit anytime!" Finn called as the pyramid snapped shut.

Lily hid the little pyramid in her special treasure box. That night, she dreamed of flying through a kingdom of clouds. And when she woke up, a single spinach leaf sat on her pillow, glowing with magic.

Sometimes the smallest discoveries lead to the biggest adventures. And the best friends come in the most unexpected packages — even goldfish spies in crystal pyramids.
