The Secret of the Sunken Pyramid

Lily hated swimming lessons. Every Tuesday afternoon, she'd sit at the edge of the pool, dangling her feet in the water while her instructor, Mr. Finn, encouraged her to jump in.

"I'll sink like a stone," Lily always said.

One day, her grandmother packed her a special lunch. "Eat your spinach, little dragon," Grandma whispered with a wink. "It contains a secret vitamin." Lily giggled and ate every bite, feeling a warm tingle spread through her body.

That afternoon at the pool, something magical happened. When Lily finally slipped into the water, she didn't sink. Instead, she floated beautifully, then—impossibly—began to swim deep, deep down to the bottom.

There, shimmering in the blue light, stood an ancient golden pyramid. Inside, a friendly sea turtle named Barnaby greeted her. "Welcome, brave one!" he said. "Many children visit, but only those who've discovered the courage vitamin can enter our friendship kingdom."

Lily spent hours playing with Barnaby and his friends—a dancing octopus and a seahorse who told hilarious jokes. They taught her that the real magic wasn't in the spinach at all. It was the bravery she'd found all along.

"The vitamin just helped you believe in yourself," Barnaby explained as Lily swam back to the surface.

At her next lesson, Lily was the first to jump in. She still ate her spinach, but now she knew the true secret: courage was already inside her, waiting to be discovered.

And every Tuesday, she'd wave to the pool's deep end, knowing her friends were always there, swimming in their golden pyramid kingdom.
