The Secret of the Starry Bull
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's farm. Every summer, she'd help feed the chickens and collect eggs. But this year, something magical happened.
One night, Lily couldn't sleep. She crept to the window and saw a soft golden glow in the pasture. Curious, she grabbed her grandmother's old iphone—it only had one app, a star map—and tiptoed outside.
There, standing beneath the moonlight, was the most magnificent bull she had ever seen. His fur shimmered like stardust, and his horns were made of pure crystal. But this wasn't Farmer Brown's bull. This bull had wings!
"I'm Orion," the bull said gently. "And I need your help."
Lily gasped. "You can talk?"
"Of course," Orion nodded. "I'm a star bull from the constellation. Someone has been stealing stars from the night sky, and the universe is growing darker each night. I need a brave friend to help me spy on the thief."
Lily's heart raced with excitement. "I'll help!" She held up the iphone. "Grandma says this shows all the stars. We can track which ones are missing."
Orion smiled. "Perfect. Climb on my back, but hold tight—flying through the galaxy is quite bumpy!"
Together, they soared into the night. Lily used the iphone to map the stars while Orion navigated through constellations. They spotted the thief—a lonely little cloud creature who was collecting stars to make himself shine because he felt invisible.
"But you're beautiful just as you are!" Lily told him. "You don't need stolen stars to shine. Your own light comes from within."
The cloud creature looked surprised. No one had ever been kind to him before. He returned all the stars, and Lily taught him how to make friends by helping others rather than taking from them.
Every summer after that, Lily would look up at the sky and wave to Orion. And whenever she felt lonely, she remembered that true friends help each other shine in their own special way.
