The Secret of the Singing Orange
Lila loved visiting her grandmother's house by the sea. Every morning, she would run outside to check the coconut **palm** tree that stood tall in the yard. But today, something magical happened.
Nestled among the green fronds was the most beautiful **orange** Lila had ever seen. It glowed like a tiny sun, and when she reached up to touch it, the orange began to sing! A sweet melody filled the air, calling her toward the sparkling ocean.
"Come closer," the orange seemed to hum. Lila carried it to the water's edge, and suddenly she wasn't holding an orange anymore—she was holding a magical little creature with shimmering wings.
"I'm Zesty," the creature said. "I'm actually a special **vitamin** fairy! I've been waiting for someone kind enough to help me."
Zesty explained that the ocean's happiness was fading because children had stopped believing in magic. "Will you come **swimming** with me to the Coral Kingdom? We need to sprinkle magic dust so children everywhere remember to wonder and dream."
Lila's heart raced with excitement. She held Zesty's hand, and together they dove into the crystal-clear water. But instead of getting wet, Lila found herself gliding through the water as easily as if she were flying! Schools of colorful fish guided them deeper, where an entire kingdom of glowing coral castles awaited.
Zesty gave Lila a pouch of golden dust. "This is made from children's laughter and dreams. Every time you use your imagination, it grows stronger!"
Together, they swam through underwater meadows and planted magic crystals in the sand. Each crystal sparkled with a different color—red for courage, blue for kindness, yellow for joy.
When Lila returned home, her grandmother was waiting with a breakfast tray. "You look like you've had an adventure," she said with a wink.
Lila smiled, touching her pocket where Zesty had given her a small glowing orange stone. She knew that magic was real, and the best adventures begin with an open heart and a brave spirit.
From that day on, whenever Lila saw someone who had forgotten how to dream, she would share her magic—and a little bit of courage, kindness, and joy would bloom in their eyes, just like a tiny orange sun.
