The Secret of the Orange Pool

Lily was the best secret spy in the whole neighborhood. Or at least, she pretended to be. Every afternoon, she'd sneak through her backyard with her plastic binoculars, searching for mysteries.

One hot summer day, she spotted something strange. Her family's swimming pool was glowing bright orange! Lily gasped. This was big spy news. She tiptoed closer, her heart pounding with excitement.

The orange water shimmered like melted sunshine. Lily dipped her toe in - warm and tingly, like bubble bath. Then she noticed tiny sparkly dots floating in the water. They looked like magical vitamins!

"Hello?" she whispered.

A little orange fish popped up! "I'm Splash!" it said cheerfully. "These aren't regular vitamins. They're happy vitamins! They make anyone who swims here feel joyful."

Lily's eyes widened. "For real?"

"Try it!" Splash said.

Lily jumped in, swimming through orange water that tasted like oranges. Suddenly, she felt so happy she wanted to giggle and dance. Splash swam beside her, and they played hide-and-seek.

"Wait!" Lily said. "My friends would love this! Can they come too?"

"Of course!" Splash smiled. "Happy vitamins work best when shared."

That afternoon, Lily brought her three best friends. They all swam and laughed until the sky turned purple. The orange pool wasn't a secret anymore - but that was okay.

Because the best spies know that some discoveries are too wonderful to keep to themselves.

And every summer since, the orange pool appears, reminding everyone that happiness grows when shared with friends.
