The Secret of the Orange Palm
Lila loved to **spy** on the magical creatures that lived in her garden. Every morning, she would hide behind the big oak tree and watch them dance in the morning dew.
One day, she saw something extraordinary—a tiny fairy with shimmering blue **hair** that sparkled like diamonds. The fairy was **running** in circles around Lila's mother's garden, chasing something bright and round.
"Wait!" Lila called out, stepping from her hiding spot. "What are you chasing?"
The fairy stopped mid-flight and hovered in front of Lila's nose. "I'm chasing the sunbeam that escaped! It turned into something magical!"
Lila followed the fairy to where a beautiful **orange** fruit glowed with golden light. But as she got closer, she saw the orange wasn't an orange at all—it was a tiny sun that had fallen from the sky!
"We must return it before sunset," the fairy said. "Or all the flowers will close forever!"
They followed the glowing orange as it bounced through the garden, over the fence, and into the neighbor's yard. There, it settled on the highest leaf of a tall **palm** tree.
"How will we reach it?" Lila worried.
The fairy smiled. "Together!"
The fairy flew to the very top of the palm tree while Lila climbed as high as she could. Standing on Lila's shoulder, the fairy reached up and gently pushed the tiny sun back toward the sky.
As it floated upward, it burst into a thousand golden sparkles that rained down on the garden. All the flowers opened wide, and the fairy's blue hair turned pink with happiness.
"Thank you for helping me," the fairy said. "You're not just a spy anymore—you're a friend!"
From that day on, Lila didn't hide behind trees. She walked right into the garden, ready for whatever magical adventure awaited. And sometimes, when the sun was just right, she could still see a tiny orange glow in the palm tree, reminding her that even the smallest helpers can make the biggest difference.
The garden had taught her the best secret of all: magic isn't meant to be watched from afar. It's meant to be shared with friends.
