The Secret of the Golden Pyramid
Lily and Max were best friends who loved adventures. One sunny afternoon, they were playing padel at the beach park when Lily spotted something strange.
"Look!" she whispered, pointing toward the dunes. "There's a golden pyramid behind those rocks!"
Max dropped his racquet. "That wasn't there yesterday!"
The children ran toward the mysterious pyramid, their bare feet pattering against the warm sand. As they got closer, they heard the sound of running water — but there was no river nearby!
The pyramid was small, only as tall as Max, with glowing blue symbols. Lily reached out and touched one.
Suddenly, the pyramid opened!
Inside was a tiny mermaid sitting in a pool of magical water. "I've been waiting for you!" she said. "I'm Marina, and I need help. My friend Felix is lost in the caves!"
"We'll help!" Max said bravely.
Marina sprinkled glowing water on them. "Now you can breathe underwater! Follow me!"
They dove into the pool and swam through a secret tunnel into a beautiful underwater cave. There, trapped behind seaweed, was Felix — a tiny spy crab with shiny shell armor.
"I was spying on the sea giants," Felix explained sheepishly. "They're planning a party, and I wanted to know the surprise."
Lily giggled. "Felix, next time just ask!"
The children freed the spy crab and swam back, emerging from the pyramid as heroes.
"Thank you!" Marina said. "Visit us anytime!" The pyramid closed and disappeared in a sparkle of light.
Lily and Max walked back to their padel game, grinning at each other. They had made new friends and discovered magic right in their own beach.
"Best adventure ever!" said Max.
"And it's our secret," Lily added with a wink.
That night, they fell asleep dreaming of mermaids, spy crabs, and the magical pyramid that had chosen them for an extraordinary adventure.
