The Secret Garden Pool

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's backyard. It wasn't just any backyard—it was a place where magic hid behind every leaf and flower.

One sunny afternoon, Lily noticed something strange. A tiny fairy with shimmering blue wings was crying near the old palm tree. The fairy was no bigger than Lily's thumb.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked, gently cupping the fairy in her palm.

"I lost my magic vitamin!" the fairy sniffled. "It fell into the hidden pool behind the garden wall, and without it, I can't fly back to Fairyland."

Lily had never seen a hidden pool before, but she believed in magic. She followed the fairy through a secret door in the garden wall that she had never noticed before.

There it was—a crystal-clear pool that sparkled like diamonds under the sunlight. But something was wrong. The water looked sad and gray.

"The pool is sick," the fairy explained. "My magic vitamin was actually a gift from the pool itself. It was the pool's way of sharing its magic with me. Now the pool needs something in return."

Lily thought hard. What could a pool possibly need? Then she remembered her grandmother's words: "The best gifts come from the heart."

She closed her eyes and made a wish—not for herself, but for the pool. She wished for the pool to be happy and full of magic forever. She pressed her hand against her heart and then touched the water.

Suddenly, the pool began to glow! A beautiful golden vitamin-shaped crystal rose from the water. It had worked!

The fairy caught the magic vitamin joyfully. "Thank you, Lily! You gave the pool something even better than magic—you gave it kindness!"

The fairy sprinkled some fairy dust on Lily's palm, leaving a tiny, sparkling mark. "Now you'll always have magic with you."

From that day on, Lily visited the hidden pool and her fairy friend often. She learned that the greatest magic of all isn't found in vitamins or fairy dust—it's found in kindness, friendship, and believing in the impossible.
